Isha Sesay
Isha Sesay is a journalist and former anchor/correspondent for CNN International. She’s the author of the 2019 book, Beneath the Tamarind Tree — A Story of Courage, Family, and the Lost Schoolgirls of Boko Haram. Isha launched the W.E. Can Lead non-profit organization in 2014, which aims to provide young girls with educational opportunity, leadership development, and mentorship. She is also the host of the podcast, The Accidental Activist.
